How to convert to Islam

to be a muslim is not so difficult. islam is not a religion based on genetics races geographical boundaries or any cultural festivities. it is a religion that is based on concept. whoever embraces that concept consciously or unconsciously is automatically converted into a muslim. As Allah claims that He owns all guidances and leading to right paths. there is no need even to make any effort to be a true muslim. one should follow his wish to be on right path and thats all.

the basic concept the concept that proves you muslim or non muslim is very simple. first of all ask your heart if you believe in one God or Allah or more than One. If your heart says that there can only be one and only One God or Allah. you are a muslim. you have qualfied the first step. here i want to repeat my words again. it doesnt matter to what religion you belong. if you feel in your heart what i ve said in the above lines you are a muslim. now there are degrees.
you know that Allah is all knowledge. if you have the first step of knowledge there must be the second.
the second step the second step of the above described basic concept is again very simple. ask your heart if God or Allah needs any partner helper or assistant to run this universe. if your heart says NO. if you say he needs no helper partner or assistant. if you say he is all powerful all knowing. if you say he is the creator of all things he needs not to be assisted or helped by any creature. if you say that He cannot be obliged to any body. He needs not to be thankful to any of His creatures. you have qualified the second step also. whether you belong to any other religion you are a muslim.
the third step now when you have tested your heart in the above concepts or steps you may ask your heart another question. you can ask it if it enjoys inflicting pain to others for any selfish reason. you can ask it if it likes to tell lies to get material benefits. you can ask it if it becomes dishonest or jealous when it sees some other fellow man in a good material or worldly condition. if you recieves the answer in big NO. you are a muslim.
now by this time you are proved as a muslim. it does not matter whether you are born in a muslim family or not. you can hope for somereward in hereafter.
in Allah's control are all guidances. If He wishes your betterment in hereafter He will guide you to the right path. dont inflict your heart with the things you dont like. keep silence and pray for the right path. pray pray and pray. dont do the things you dont like. if you dont like having sexual relation with any one if you dont enjoy any such thing dont do it. it simply means that you are not born for it. dont kill your soul by doing what you dont like.
if you feel that you are already a person i call a muslim. then it is up to you whether you like to announce it publically or not. no body is sure of latter steps. if you declare Muhammad as the last prophet of Allah you may hope to get some more advantages. if you start reciting the HOly Quran you may hope to get some more advantages in the hereafter. in the same way if you start offering five times prayer you may hope to get some more and more advantages. but this is not sure. you may get nothing in the return of all these things. it is upto Allah. but if you feel that in heart of your heart you possess all the above three steps of qualifying you as a muslim you may hope that Allah will provide you with an opportunity to perform some good deeds. you may go on leading your life in the same old manner.
