Why does God appear to be turning away ...

God is the sole creator of this universe. You can imagine the length and width of universe by simply comparing the facts that our solar system is one of the thousands of such other solar systems in the universe. Then look at the variety of things and shapes God has created in this universe. How greatly opposite and similar the things are. Then imagine the effects these things bear in thier nature. It seems all amazing and worderful. And this is the point where we feel there is some one who has created all these things. This is one way to feel the presence of God. We feel him through the impossibility and the amazement we find in our minds. And sadly enough when the quantity of impossibilty and amazement changes in our minds the concept of God changes too.
There are other ways too. We feel God through the qualities and senses we are gifted with. When the work of particular quality of sense we have felt God through changes in the back of our mind, the concept of God changes too.
It is at these particular moments of change when people sometimes feel that God is turning away from them. If we want to remain with God all the times the concept of God should be more comprehensive. The more limited the concept, the liklier it seems He turns away.
The most comprehensive concept I think is as following:
God is one. He is like nothing and nothing is like Him. All material (flowers, plants, mountains, skies, clouds, buildings etc) and non material (ideas, images, concepts, theories etc.) things are His creations. He is so great that we cant imagine His person and qualities. He is not a creator like us. His creations are not bound to the very part of His person. We cant force Him to give us and take away from us anything. Every thing is upto Him.
It is when we imagine Him something personal that He seems to turn away from us. He is not bound to act according to our imagination or concept. In these momments we should try to change our concept immediately and fall obedient to His will then and there. We should confuse our mind with questions about the exisitence of God.
Moreover there are two ways of living: as dependent on God and as independent of Him. We are born with natural tendency and inclination of living in either of these two ways. It cant be helped. If your natural tendency is to live dependent on God, you will feel Him turning away from you when you will act independt of Him. On the other hand if you are naturally inclined to live independently you will feel Him turning away from you when you will try to live dependent on Him. In all your life you will have to act and live according to the natural tendency you are gifted with.
God is independent and needless of every thing. It is we that have to dependent and needy. If we discover our inner and do what our inner bids us to do we will never feel Him turning away.
